Chair looks great and are comfortable as for the style. Feels sturdy and stable. Material looks good and easy to clean. Easy to assemble. Has rubber layer at the bottom of the base so it doesn't scratch the floor. Height regulation works fine (needs a little push to go down but that might be because of my weight).How to do some finagling to get the assembly to work, pretty sure there was a problem with the black chairs, cuz I was the ones on sale and I had to cut out the top of the insert in order to allow the chair to move up and down as it shouldThey can sit higher than my counter. For a good height varianceSo comfortable in good quality must haveAmazinglove the chairsFirst off, if you’re reading this and planning to purchase; the directions aren’t clear on how to put these things together. There’s a black plastic cap inside the bottom piece of the pole, that has to be removed before you slide the top pole onto it. If you slide the pole on with the cap still in place, the cap will get stuck inside the pole and good luck digging it out. If it’s not removed, you won’t be able to adjust the stool up or down. Other than that, I love these stools. Everyone compliments them, and they’ve held up for months with my busy body family. Probably a good thing I couldn’t dig out the plastic cap, bc my OCD would be in overdrive every time I walk pass my bar, and the stools are not the same height.The chair is very easy to assemble and very comfortable I would definitely recommendI regret purchasing this product. After assembling the stools the piston would not work properly and rendering the stools unable to change their height vertically. Upon contacting the seller they sent replacement parts but didn't provide my complete shipping address. The packet never got to me. And asking for support on how to disassemble the base parts which are attached without any screws, i didn't get any helpful replies from their team. Complete waste of time and frustrating experience that spanned over a month.First of all: base is very small an stool not stable enough for bar seating.Second: plastic part is low quality.And for the third: the seating uncomfortable compared to my stools.Not worth even that amount of money!The instructions on this are unclear because it's just a picture diagram but you don't need instructions it's really straight forward and easy to assemble took me 10 minutes if that. Perfect for my space exactly what I was looking for. I'm a skinny person so I find them comfortable but may not be great for larger individualsAt first i was happy with cheap and modern. They quickly started squeaking and bottom saudering didnt last. Only visitors would sit in these stools so not lots of use. I sent them to the dump a few months ago. Would never reorderThe best customer service ! I had a small issue and the part was over nighted even during Christmas. Love these barstools . Very sturdy and comfortableGreat buy
