Apparently I'm the first customer to buy and review these stools as there were no Amazon reviews at the time I made my purchase. This made me a bit apprehensive about buying them but they looked nice and matched perfectly with my steampunk reading lamps and steampunk table lamps that I built myself from plumbing parts. The materials are all good quality but a few of the welds seem iffy, see the attached photos. I'm not a big, heavy guy at 180 lbs so they should be OK for me but I do worry about seating a larger guest if they should come over for a visit. I guess that time will tell if the welds hold up to some abuse from guests who weigh over 200 lbs. Assembly was pretty easy and took about 10 minutes per stool, just make sure to follow the instructions where it says to leave some of the nuts tightened only to 50% so that you can tweak the legs in order to attach the foot ring, then tighten it all up. The box also contains an allen wrench/hex key wrench and one of those stamped-metal spanner wrenches which are adequate, but you will also need a phillips head screwdriver to attach the wooden seats. A screwdriver is not included. The price is pretty reasonable and it was cheaper for me to buy these than to make my own so overall I'm well pleased with my purchase and will probably buy a third stool for my game room in the near future.What a great Addition to our a rustic kitchen, we would definitely buy these again?well made at an affordable price.Easy assembly, looks great. Good quality materials. Very sturdy. There are not pre-drilled holes in the seat for the final attachment of the wood seat to the base so you will need a drill.This is just the stool I needed for my new industrial desk. It comes unassembled (of course). Almost everything you need is included in the box. You do need a Phillip’s screwdriver. If you follow the instructions, you can have it put together in no time. This is a beautiful stool. I love the steampunk look to it. It is a well-crafted stool. It is solid and sturdy. I love that it is adjustable. This allows me to get the stool to the correct height for me and my desk. Make sure you go back and tighten all the screws after you are done assembling the stool. This is a good-looking stool. It has an industrial, steampunk look to it. It would also fit in with farmhouse décor. I am very pleased with this stool. It is just what I needed. This is a great looking, sturdy stool.
