Took me 45 min to build both by myself. Color is as pictured and are comfortable. I’m 5’11” and they are not too close to the counter for me.i really do like these chairs, my decor colors are like white pink grey and gold and the chairs add a nice white clean and sleek look to it. would recommend if that is why you're looking for. the gold is a more of orangey gold thick color if you get my explanation lol it still is really nice looking.The gold looks more like a matted orange/gold color. The instructions are illustrations instead of directions. Took me a while to figure out which screws go where. Once I figured that out on the 1st stool (about 30 minutes later), no problem assembling the other. Cushions and base seem the be sturdy, but have only had a couple of weeks and have not really used. They look nice in the space but do not look high end. They’re priced right for the quality. Should not pay more than $100 or so for set.They're an orange gold. So there's that. Had my oldest son who builds computers, put this together for me and I've never heard him cuss so much. It took him a few days. "Screws and holes don't match up" is all he'd mutter when I'd ask. Chairs are kinda wobbly.BUT they're cuuuute. Cushion is super comfortable and even ok for sitting for a long time if you have back problems.Lots of compliments on them even if they're wobbly.Product came damage one of de bar holes is out of line could not assembleI hired a furniture assembly person that worked in Rent a center and assembly furniture for 7 yrs. She stated there are defects to the chair legs she tried to switch up the legs and still was woobly.The parts did not fit together and came brokenReceived bent frames, upholstery quality was extremely poor, screw holes didnt align properly. Also received completely different color in black and frame shape.
