I had been looking for stools like these, but really wasn’t into spending a ton of money to do so especially because the stools I was replacing were in perfectly good condition. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon the “used/damaged” option. The description said that the item would be in damaged packaging but would otherwise be okay and it was a fraction of the cost. I ordered two stools that way. Each came from a different warehouse and arrived on different days. The boxes had some wear, but the contents were in tact. Assembly wasn’t terribly difficult, but lining up the holes of the foot rest ring of the second stool was a little tricky. It did appear that this stool had been previously assembled then dis-assembled. These stools look great at my kitchen island and are surprisingly comfortable. I didn’t know that the seat swiveled when I purchased them, but enjoy the fact that they do. The faux leather seat material looks faux, but I’m not bothered by that because I have kids and I prefer the ability to wipe messes from the seat over aesthetics. Overall, I am tickled by these MCM style stools that I got for a steal.
