I found these for a friend’s vacation condo in Florida. She had ordered some bar stools from an upscale furniture store but she needed some to use until those came in.She has very contemporary and expensive taste and likes these so much the she is going to use these to go under the end of the countertop bar and for back up for additional guests.They took only a few minutes to assemble, feel sturdy (worked well for my 190# husband) and look great at the island. They also have foot rests on both sides. I would absolutely buy these again!!I don’t know why stools are SO expensive. But I was glad to find these that were affordable, modern and stylish. They are surprisingly sturdy and comfy. I also wanted stools that could slide under the bar and be pushed out of the way and these are great for that too!Easy to put together and fairly comfortable. Style fits perfectly in our home and product description is accurate.I have to admit I haven't been to happy with the quality of merchandise I have received from Amazon recently but with that being said. I'm extremely happy with these stools. They fit my decor perfectly and were exactly as the description read. Each piece was so carefully wrapped and packaged.
