This replaced one of those wooden folding drying racks that I bought in the 90s. I doubt this one will last as long. I almost bought another wooden folding one. However, I decided to give this one a try. It has some pluses and minuses. The plus is that is fits over one side of my double sink perfectly. Like it was made specifically for my sink. It was very easy to assemble. Now the minuses -- the plastic utensil holder and the 3 plastic cup holders are FLIMSY. I can see the utensil holder breaking in the near future. The little, and I do mean little, prongs that hold it together are extremely small. The 3 plastic cup holders are just as flimsy. I might use them for my plastic measuring cups; however, I would not dare to use them with my cups or glasses. I put one of my glasses on one and watched it sag under the weight of the glass. On the upper rack the spacing between the slots are too wide for my stoneware plates. At one end there are a couple of really wide slots for pans and the rest are for plates. They must have done something in the picture to get their plates to stand up because my stoneware plates have a worrying lean. I admit that it might be my plates, they are shallow. Yet compared to my old rack, the slots are wide. I'll use this while I search for something else. I must definitely would NOT recommend this item.I like everything about this product except for the quality of the instruction manual. The pictures are unclear, which makes it difficult to follow. If the pictures were clearer, the assembly could be managed in 5 minutes instead of 30.It assembled in a snap, doesn't take up much space and is easy to clean.I love this drying rack (a phrase I never thought I'd say). It takes up so little space on my counter, but stores so many wet dishes!The one problem is that the assembly instructions were poorly made. The small B&W images with no text makes it very difficult to tell which piece is which or how to put it together. I'm pretty savvy about these things, but even I made a few mistakes that I had to go back and fix. If you aren't a particularly handy person, you might want to consult a friend before you assemble this.So it is as advertised. Dishes fit in it and they dry well.I have a tiny kitchen and was looking for something to help keep my drying dishes from taking up a bunch of space on the counter top. This does the trick. It was very easy to assemble and came with the tools needed to put together.I have a dishwasher but I do a few dishes here and there. This dish rack is perfect! Very sturdy, looks good and holds even pots and pans! When im done it easily goes under my cupboards. I love the little drain you can pull out the other dish racks ive used always leaks water onto my counter. Im very pleased with this purchase.Great quality and very useful product for my kitchen. I love it
