These chairs get a lot of compliments. They are very beautiful with very soft fabric. They are perfect for skinny people like my daughter. I am sort of fluffy so I don't think they're a good fit for me personally. I don't love the feet because they're kind of pointy & I worry they could scratch the floor, but haven't lived with them long enough to see. However, they are for my daughter's apartment & I think they'll suit her just fine.I can’t get the second chair assembled because the under mount for the seat is bent.They are not easy to put together yourself. Better with another person. They feel weak when you sit in them. I worry about them breaking eventually. They are nice looking though. We will see if they last.Lovely velvet bar stools - just like we imagined. Velvet is the only fabric our cats aren’t able to harm! However, we had a hard time with assembly. When we followed the directions, the screws ended up being too short to connect the legs to the seat of the stool. With the second stool assembly we first connected the base of the stool to the metal connection base that legs are connected to. Still had some difficulty with alignment of screws but at least we didn’t have to get longer screws like we had to with the first assembly.The chairs are pretty but assembly is an absolute nightmare. It’s not great craftsmanship. They are overpriced in my opinion. I do like them (even though I wanted to pull my hair out, muscling these things to put them together) With shipping this comes out to $200 and these are not $200 stools.This is an update to my previous review whereby I had ordered 4 stools. Three of the stools were perfect, but the fourth had a manufacturing defect whereby I couldn't attach the foot rest. It was not shipping damage. However, I love the bar stools!The vendor went beyond what I expected and shipped out two new stools right away. I put together the new stool and there were some slight differences (but very noticeable) variations between the first order and the replacement stools. The new stools had the backrest about an inch shorter and slight differences in the stitching and fabric color of the seat. So, I used the seat from the original order and installed it on the new set of legs (after some modification) thus the chairs now all matched. There was one additional flaw of the new stools and that was with the feet. I have light colored wood floors and the new stool's adjustable feet left skid marks on the floor. But with one more modification by taking the feet off the original fourth stool and installing it on the replacement stool, I now have 4 complete stools that all match.I would have scored it overall 5 stars because I like the stools so much. However, better quality control and communication with the Chinese manufacturer/supplier could alleviate some of these issues.We really love it . It looks just like in the pic ??They are so adorable and comfortable. I have gotten so many compliments! The assembly is also very easy.
